Sewing Lingerie with Paige Plihal | January 30th

Make your own matching lingerie set in this hands-on workshop led by local sewing teacher, knitter, and dye artist Paige Plihal. You'll sew the Jordy Bralette, a classic triangle-style bralette with several styling options, along with an Emerald Erin underwear pattern of your choice. It's the perfect project for building your confidence with knits, laces, and delicate fabrics.

What you’ll learn:
  • How to cut and work with lingerie fabrics
  • How to install bra hardware like sliders and closures
  • Tips for fit adjustments and finishing techniques

  • 6 hours of instructional time in a small group setting
  • Printed Jordy Bralette + underwear patterns
  • Velvet fabric and lace in color of your choice
  • All other bra making supplies
  • Use of a classroom sewing machine (you’re also welcome to bring your own)
Who this class is for:

This class is designed for the intermediate sewist. You should already feel confident using a sewing machine, have experience completing a range of garments, and be ready for a new challenge! You should understand how to follow a commercial pattern, sew using a seam allowance, and follow basic construction steps like hemming and pressing.

Paige Plihal is a pattern maker, fiber artist, and educator with a passion for intentional making and creative exploration. With over 30 years of sewing experience and more than a decade in educational content strategy, she helps others build skills and confidence in fiber arts.
